Currently undergoing prototype vehicle testing, our flywheel is designed for easy use with the AR5, R15x, AX-15, T56, Nv3500, Muncie, and many more. Orders will open in 4 weeks pending testing is completed satisfactorily. There will be two versions of the flywheel that will use off the shelf SBC clutch components:

• Chromoly 34lb Heavy-Weight version, designed specifically for Truck, Jeep and Off Road applications that need low rpm inertia during take-off. (Shown in picture)

• Lightweight 15.7lb 7075 Aluminum flywheel, with steel friction surface insert for racing applications and light street vehicles.

These flywheels are designed from scratch here at Atlas Industries using actual prototype Vortec 4200 manual parts, CAD/CMM work, and good old hands on testing. They are not designed to compete with the already excellent flywheel currently offered from Emtech Motorsports (available here) but to offer an off the shelf alternative for different vehicle build goals.
