(Hey, that's me!) I started Atlas Industries to help fuel a passion for the Vortec 4200 and it's siblings. Initially just parts for myself and friends, other people seemed to like my work, so I decided to start expanding. I built my first Vortec 4200 engine swap in 2015, and never looked back!

Back in 2011, after getting a BS. in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Kettering Univeristy, I spent over 10 years working here in Metro Detroit for Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs. I was blessed to be involved with several high profile engine programs and prototype work for Bearings, Pistons, Rings and more. However, I became disheartened with the bureaucracy that is "The Auto Industry"; It's endless cost cutting and bean counting over innovation and quality. I was already racing and building cars every weekend; why not make that a career? Skilled in welding and machining, and armed with my experience in engine design, I decided it was time to start a company and run it the way I wanted; Putting Quality over penny pinching, putting Customer Service at the forefront of everything, and designing and producing the best darn parts you can get! All at a price an "Average Joe" like you and I can afford.
